Changing the turntable motor is an Easy process.
Removal process
· Firstly, remove the glass tray and roller ring.
· Remove the turntable coupling by pulling it out
(the bit of plastic that makes the glass tray turn)
· Turn the machine over (Yes, that's right, its located underneath the machine)
· You will see a flap in the middle of the base, it has little metal tabs all around it, simply cut these tabs and the metal cover will fall off.
· You will now see your turntable motor
· Unscrew your turntable motor and remove the connections one at a time, swapping them on to your replacement motor like this ensures you don't loose a wire inside the machine.
Fitting your new turntable motor
· Place the new motor back in, tighten the screws and refit connectors.
· The cover you cut off before you can reuse, there will be a tab to push the cover into on one side, and a screw hole on the other.
· Flip the machine back over and replace the coupling, roller ring and glass tray.
Stand back and admire your work!
